I've read them all and just picked up the newest one (The New Year Quilt) yesterday from the library. I've loved them all!!

Now you see what happens, I have to have these books. I went on Amazon and got the first three in the series for about twelve dollars pluS shipping. Thought that was pretty good for three books.

I just read The Quilter's Homecoming and loved it! I think I finished it in about 3 or 4 hours - I couldn't put it down.

This is the order she wrote them in
The Quilter's Apprentice (1999)
Round Robin (2000)
The Cross-Country Quilters (2001)
The Runaway Quilt (2002)
The Quilter's Legacy (2003)
The Master Quilter (2004)
The Sugar Camp Quilt (2005)
The Christmas Quilt (2005)
Circle of Quilters (2006)
The Quilter's Homecoming (2007)

She claims they are not meant to be read in a certain order but I disagree. You would miss out on a lot of the story line if you don't read them in the order she wrote them.

I think the Quilter's Apprentice is first. There is a website that has a list... if you put in the Author's name it comes up...I found it once. Or on Amazon.com there is a list I think, too. I liked reading them in order too.

I would love to read these - looked at them at the bookstore, but they aren't numbered and I'm anal enough that I have to read them in order. Can anyone tell me which order they go in? Which one's first, second, etc. Thanks!

I read the first one a while back and wasn't impressed. Do they get better? Maybe I should try again!

I have read them all too!! I just got the newest one on Saturday. Cannot wait to meet the characters and get into the story. They are great books!
willowtreecreek Posted - May 17 2007 : 6:11:58 PM
Oh aren't they so good! My mom and dad do a scrapbooking camp at their bed and breakfast. I would love to go to a crafting or quilting one! I'm not much into scrapbooking. I love all the historical fiction that is in the books! SO INTERESTING! I'm glad to know there are other fans out there. I just ordered the 6 and 7th book at my local bookstore. They should be in early next week.

I have read all except the newest book. It came in at the library for me, but wild circumstances this week prevented me from picking it up. Now I have to put it on hold all over again and it may be a while before it comes back to me.

I love the series!
