Hi Sisters!
I’m here to ask for prayers for wisdom for my hubby and I. We need to make a decision about one of our kitties. The kitty is dealing with a chronic health issue. Our vet thinks the next step is to have a scope of his nose. The nearest vet that does this service is two hours away from home. And the procedure is very costly. If you could pray that John and I make the decision that will be most beneficial. Thanks, girls.

Connie that was a good thing your Vet told you! It is so hard to be with when they pass away.
I had one sweet terrier that passed in my arms, that was so hard! I have had several cats pass on. They were all old. Sad I had one kitty pass on when I was in the care facility for my knee. She was really old. I miss them all! One cat I had I got her cremated and have here in a box.
Love them all so much and they are all equally precious!

Karen , I just saw this, I'm so sorry, I've been in that position before. Our vet told us something one time that helped us immensely!
She said, Pets live for today! to play, to love, to eat! they don't anticipate tomorrow, so if we can stop their suffering today, we must! I cannot tell you how much that has helped us thru the years when faced with these kinds of decisions. we have always had cats for the last 50 years, we had to say goodbye too many times having owned 4, 5 6 cats at one time.

I'm so sad to read this Karen! Its never easy to put our fur babies to sleep but always a good thing to prevent any further suffering! This week my son had to euthanize his fur rescue kitty- kidney failure. I feel for all of you. My hugs and prayers ...

Karen, sending you big hugs for the very hard decision you had to make. My heart aches for you as I have felt that big hole in my life in the past when I had to put my last kitty down. I am so sorry.

Thank you, sweet sisters, for the prayers for wisdom and guidance. I felt them all. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our fluffy, black kitty today. I’m happy that he is no longer suffering but will miss him very much.

Oh Karen, we too just went through something similar in December. It is such an awful feeling, but just know that you guys are loved and that many thoughts and prayers for comfort are focused your way. <3

Karen, I know the sadness and pain you and hubby are feeling over having to put down your beloved kitty. We had to make that same decision 6 years ago and it was hard. Sending you love and prayers for having to make this hard and painful decision. It is never easy no matter what the circumstances are.

Thank you, all, so much. We received estimates for the diagnostic tests this afternoon. Sadly, just to try and figure out what the problem is would cost us $2,900. As cruel as it sounds, we can’t justify spending that kind of money just to know the exact cause of his issues. I’m sure there would be a surgery to follow up…
Our vet was off today and won’t be back in the office Tuesday. We will share our decision with her then.

Hi Karen - I pray that you will receive some clarity with regards to the decisions that you have to make about your little kitty. It can certainly be very difficult to make such decisions about the ones you love so much.
