That day will always be with us Darlene. Our town held a beautiful ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial site on the riverwalk. There was a huge turnout and it was very moving. One of the attendees husband was a airline pilot who was killed that day. My husband lost his cousin in one of the towers, she was only 28. We are thankful for the first responders who gave their lives and still suffering from the aftermath of the clean up. Sadly 10,000 of them have cancer right now because of poor air quality. We must never forget them and their sacrifices.
