Posted - Jan 24 2016 : 10:02:43 AM Our family could really use your prayers. My hubby has class up in Virginia this week... getting up there this weekend is proving difficulty. He took our 4 wheel drive vehicle, which is the only one big enough for all of us, so I am home with all 7 kids, unable to go anywhere. Normally this would not be an issue... however, yesterday afternoon my 2 yo started running a fever of up to 104. Her only complaint is that her head and eyes hurt!?!? Giving her motrin brings the fever right down and lasts for about 10 hours... which is great, except when it spikes, it goes up FAST!
Also, hubby takes a test on Friday that could mean he only has to go up once more instead of twice after this week.
Thank you all!
~ Shannon

Posted - Feb 07 2016 : 5:18:34 PM LOL CJ - your timing is funny... My sister and her family visited yesterday... her stepson had a stomach bug. hubby left for Virginia again today (hopefully the last time) and my 7 yo is having tummy issues as is my hubby. HAHAHAHAHAHA I am sure by the end of the week, I am going to be going bonkers. Right now all I can do though is laugh! Life is such an adventure!

Posted - Jan 25 2016 : 05:54:48 AM I gave Aly more motrin around 9:30 last night... it has been lasting about 10 hours for her. As of right now - at almost 9 - NO FEVER! PRAISE GOD!!! She is still really whiny, an obvious sign that she isn't feeling 100% yet. But thrilled there is no fever as of yet this morning!!! Praying we are past the worst!

Posted - Jan 24 2016 : 10:21:31 AM Oh my goodness, Shannon... I will definitely pray! Eye and head pain concerns me, especially when she has such a high fever. Have you called the physician? The doctor might have some recommendations as to what to watch for, and what to do. But if this doesn't get better, she may need to be checked out at the ER or a MedCare... Do you have anyone nearby to help get you there and watch the kids? I wish we lived closer... I'd be there in a heartbeat. Sending up prayers, sister! Hugs - Nini
