Posted - Dec 22 2015 : 08:19:29 AM I'm thinking of my sister today. She lost her nine year old granddaughter four years ago to liver cancer. Her sadness during the holidays is overwhelming.
Today I am praying for all who read this that have lost children in their families. May the Lord cover you with his mercy, grace, and peace that passes understanding. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Posted - Dec 22 2015 : 12:27:21 PM I have a friend who lost her husband on Christmas morning last year. He had been diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer in October and went downhill so quickly, no matter what they did. At the end, he was in hospice care and she was able to be with him as his life ebbed. He passed early on Christmas morning. It has been a rough year for her.
