on 10/25...he is out of pain, and is in the arms of his Grandfathers and Great grandfathers...I can not explain in words the loss he is to all of us, and we all will mourn him for the rest of our days...thank you again for your thoughts and prayers... Today is Rogers 16th birthday, he had his scan yesterday, and the tumor is growing, but at a very slow pace, at this time, he is still in pain and has seizures, but with the meds he is more comfortable. So there is no timetable, and all they can do is another scan in a few weeks to see the growth and postion. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts and souls...
who will be 16 on Oct 1st, was born blind and autistic, and is the sweetest most gentle child, who has gone thru some really bad health scares since he was 8 months old, he caught RSV, which is a very bad lung virus, he had to be put in a induced coma to treat him, then we found out that his pituitary gland never developed, so he is on growth hermones for the rest of his life, his blood sugar will jump really scary high or low for no reason, which has put him in the hospital more than once. A few weeks back, he woke his Mom and stepdad in the middle of the night crying really hard ( he has never cried in his life, not even when he was born), when they got to his room, he was holding his head really tightly with both hands, my ex-daughter-in-law called my son, and said they were heading to the hopital, my son drove the 4 hrs to meet them there. He has a growth, right at and touching the brain stem, which is not opratable, it does not matter if its cancerous or not, they could try radiation, which would be 3 times a week, but they would have to knock him out each time, and that alone is dangerous, so they decieded against it, he will go home and stay, and keep him as comfortable as possible with pain meds and anti-seizure meds, and in a couple of weeks they will do another scan to see how much it has grown. This is killing my son, and all of my grandsons family, no one should ever have to bury a child or grandchild...I am asking for your thought and prayers for "Roger" for this to be as pain free as possilble, and to help his Daddy And Mommy, and little sister get thru this, thank you...

Oh Tina, I am praying for you and your family. I hope you can take some comfort knowing his pain is ended and he is blessedly at peace. But I know it is hard to do that sometimes. Will keep praying for you.

Happy Day!

Tina,
Prayers for Roger, you and your family are going out. What a hard load for all of you. Young Roger has had so many problems, many people use their problems for an excuse, it sounds like he has borne his with gentleness and love.
