Many of you know about the situation we had with our neighbor... Long story short, I nailed nails into the fence between her yard and ours, she squirted me with a garden hose and then threatened to shoot me with a gun. This was in May. We moved out as soon as possible to a rental, the beginning of July. This morning I received a certified letter from her saying I owe her money for "vandalism" that I have to pay within the next 30 days or she will take me to court. Now Emi, the baby I am carrying, is spasming. As soon as hubby gets home, he is taking me to the OB to get her checked. I am stressed and scared!

HI Shannon, I"m new to the Sisterhood. Just wanted to say our prayers are with you. I don't understand how people can get like this. We had a neighbor who was bitter like this. She finally moved out. Hang in there and remember this too shall pass.

Praying for you and your family...also your neighbor...bitterness is something that takes hold of you and pulls you under without God's help...she will never find peace as long as she holds on to this...Your family may be the only Bible she ever sees...take heart...God is truly in control in every believers situation...

Hugs!

Yes CJ - she is a very bitters unhappy woman that desperately needs prayer! Our family tries to pray for her, but there are days that we struggle to do so... But it is important for our kids to see that praying for our "enemies" is how we are called to react.

I thought exactly the same words: Good grief, Shannon! Will this woman never stop! I'm praying for you all... Do not let her get to you. Right now, your health and well-being, and Emi's, and that of your family, is what is most important. God is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Pray for your enemy - that is what we are called to do. She needs it. She really needs it. If you can't change her in the physical, your prayers may exact a change in her spiritually. But no matter what happens, God is ultimately in control, and you will be vindicated from all this craziness. God will take care of it, I know He will. Do what you can, pray and trust. We've got your back in prayers, too. Farmgirl prayers are the best! Love and hugs - Nini

Shannon, I am so sorry this woman is continuing to bother you. I feel certain a lawyer could bring her up on charges of mental cruelty or something. I will continue to pray and for Emi. I am glad she is doing okay. You are under way too much stress...which you should mention to the lawyer as well.

Blessings to you and your family,
Portia

Just got home. Emi is doing alright. My blood pressure was sky high... diastolic was 107! Looking at getting a lawyer that will work pro-bono to see if we can get this sorted out and be left alone by the old neighbor before she does serious damage to our family's well being!
