Prayers for my family tonight. A cousin I haven't seen in years passed away tonight after being caught in a house fire yesterday. I pray her soul finds peace. Love and strength to her children, my aunt and uncle, as well as her siblings.
It is an ugly ordeal, as we do not know if she accepted Christ. She had a large amount of drugs in her system. I understand there may also be an investigation into the possibility of homicide.

Thank you ladies. Homicide was ruled out. A small blessing. It is all hard enough on her family without that. Yesterday my aunt signed her body over to science. She will be cremated. We have no clue on services.

Oh, Alicia... I'm so, so sorry. You will all be in my prayers. Remember to trust deeply in the Lord's loving mercy and compassion. He won't let even one of His children slip through the cracks. We do not know what happens when we finally do come face to face with Him on the other side, but I have to trust in His loving, grace-full heart. I will pray for your cousin's soul as well.
