Update 4/25 - We are home! Lee's surgery was a success! Surgeon scraped and washed out the wound - said had we waited another week, he would have had to be on IV antibiotics! Momma - well... I am exhausted!!! But singing praises to God and many thanks to all of you!

Update 4/24 - Went to the pediatrician this morning, then the orthopedic... Lee's leg is infected. He will be having surgery tomorrow morning at 1100 to drain it and clean it. As long as there is no absess on the bone, he should be able to be discharged after surgery... if there is one, he will be admitted. They will be checking him for MRSA. Your prayers are appreciated!

Good morning all! Well I guess when it rains, it pours! Life here has been quite stressful! Right now, however, one of our chief concerns is our 9 yo son. He was running in the backyard yesterday, tripped and fell on a wooden pallet... it sliced his leg open, down to the muscle! Praise God, no tendons or ligaments were involved, and he just barely missed the nerve! After multiple layers of stitches, he has been sewn closed. We are home, but he is getting pain meds around the clock and he is unable to walk on it, so hubby carries him up and down the steps, and we help him around as he needs it. His muscle should heal - it will be much like a seriously hard workout - type muscle tear. Please pray for his healing, as we have a long week ahead of us!
