We found out this evening that my husband's cousin was killed in a car accident this morning. She was on her way to work when she hit a patch of black ice, flipping her car into oncoming traffic, where she was hit and killed. The entire family is brokenhearted and shocked.

Please take a moment to pray for her parents, siblings, and loved ones as we all try to make sense of this terrible tragedy.

Thank you,
Dawn in IL

Dawn, will be praying for peace and closure. There is nothing to say when things like this happen, but it draws families closer together. Take care.

Thank you Kem and Nini for your kind words and prayers. Kem, I'm so sorry you have been through this too. The service/funeral will be Saturday. We have also been praying for Mariam's parents and siblings. They & the rest of the relatives are all still in shock.

Thank you Jenny and Judy. Since this was a fatal accident, a autopsy has to be performed before police will release her body to the family. This makes it all the more difficult for the family. A lot of my husband's cousins in this country (they are originally from Iran) have been staying in touch via email and phone calls until the final arrangements are made.

All prayers have been very much appreciated and we thank everyone for them.
