My husband got his hand caught in a auger belt and pulley yesterday. He broke three fingers and part of his ring finger is gone. Had surgery to repair and pin fingers and doing well today. Won't beable to farm for a few weeks. Grateful it was not worse.

Back from vacation and hubby is doing wonderful. We had a great time, rested, played, and visited tourist sites. He looks good and acts good sooooooo time will tell how the hand is going to heal. I have bets on that his hand will heal just fine. So grateful he wasn't hurt any worse than what he was.

I hope he takes this week to relax and enjoy his vacation. His hand will heal all that much quicker if he doesn't over do it in these early stages! Have fun in AZ and try to post some pictures for us. It is such a beautiful and unique state. Prayers for you both.

LOL! Oh, Kem... You just can't keep a good man down, can you? ;) I'm so glad you're both able to get away, and that he will have some "forced" R&R. Enjoy your trip! I'll still be praying! Hugs - Nini

Thanks for all the concern. We had book a flight to see my Folks in Az before his accidneT. I could not Get it
changed or money refunded, so we went. Best Thing for hubby, he was trying to farm regardless. Now we are in Az for a week and he is currently taking a nap. All is well, and he is healing.

Kem,
Praying for your husband - and you. I know first hand how it can be living with a farmer that's unable to do everything he thinks he should be able to :)

Oh Kem, I am so sorry to hear about this. How scary! I am just seeing this post. Glad to hear he is recovering well, but ouch! When my hubby was a teen, he almost lost his whole arm in a tractor combine. Great doctors saved his arm, yikes! So glad your husband sounds like he is in good hands with good doctors, too. Prayers for you, Kem, too. I would've been a mess!

Keep us posted.
