He was admitted to the hospital early this morning with a more severe flare up of pancreatitis than he has ever had. I would also request prayers not only for his healing but that we can get through the added financial burden of a hospitalization with no insurance. Thanks so much ladies!

EDITED PORTION::

He got to come home yesterday. He is very weak and will have a lengthy recovery from this flare up. He is also now a diabetic and is taking several meds, which he is not too happy about but hopefully as this flare up continues to resolve the diabetes will also improve and resolve. So now we are making more changes to our lifestyle and diet that will hopefully help things improve. I would like to say again, thank you to everyone for your prayers and thoughts and words of encouragement. They are much appreciated; words simply cannot communicate how thankful we are.

We are still working on the finances, but I know that "something" will work out.

Rachel,
I am praying for healing for your husband and for the Lord to provide for you both. Like CJ, there was a time I needed surgery but had no insurance, we qualified for assistance. Praying for that blessing for you.

Terri,
I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot even begin to imagine how hard that must be. You are most definitely in my prayers for the Lord to bring you peace, strength and comfort and for healing of your heart. He is faithful and He does have a plan so please hang in there!

Rachel,

I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. I've been in the hospital twice with pancreatitis and it still bothers me sometimes. They have done every test that they can think of and they have no idea what is causing it, all of the tests always come back fine. Please keep us updated and let us know how you are all doing.
hugs,
Marcy

Rachel,
I will be praying as well! My hubby has had two surgeries in the past and no insurance. We were able to qualify for assistance both times.
I will be pray for that process!

Thank you ladies so much for the prayers, it means a whole lot to us both. This episode of pancreatitis is the worst one he has ever had and he is having other complications with fluid in his abdomen, dangerously high blood pressure and heart rate and some abnormal labs. I believe that he is in more pain than I was when giving birth (with no drugs) and I feel so bad for him. The hospital staff has been great so far and his doctor is awesome. I missed the financial person when I got there today, but have my documents that I am sure they will want to see and will track that person down tomorrow to start the paperwork process. Brad said that she told him that we should qualify to have the majority of it written off if not all of it, thank goodness. I also have to go back by the first hospital that we went to for the ER visit (in town) to start the financials there, I hope they can work with us on that too. My primary concern though, is for him to heal and hopefully learn something important from this experience. I don't know why, but I get the feeling that this is something that he is supposed to learn from. He did have a better day today than yesterday and I do believe that the prayers from everyone has had alot to do with it.

Heavenly Father, I ask you to lift Rachel's husband up in prayer for healing of severe flare-up of pancreatitis, help him to heal and take all pain from him as he is healing. Be with him and Rachel so that the hospital bill will be lower or taken care of so that they can get the medical help they need while he is at the hospital.

Be with Rachel and give her strength to be strong for her husband during this ordeal. I thank you in advance for the healing you will give him
In Jesus Precious name...Amen.
