I'm fearing the worst--I've been following the blog of a woman who lives in Israel, and just a few days ago, her blog disappeared. It's gone. I only know her by her first name so trying to find out if she's OK would be impossible. Please pray for all the people who live in that troubled region. Peace is so much better than war.

I talked to someone today who knows a little about computers and he said it's possible that the blog had a virus and the "motherboard"--where thousands of blogs are stored--deleted that particular blog to avoid spreading the virus. I hope that's all it is. It's scary though--I've never known a blog to be there one day and gone the next. Even if the blogger stops writing, the blog usually remains, doesn't it? I follow some blogs of people in other countries cause it's neat to learn about other cultures. And I pray for some of them who live in places where violence is a fact of life. I had a friend who lived in Guatemala and was killed and is buried there, and if I ever get a chance to travel, I want to see the Guatemalan countryside that he said was so beautiful (the cities, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired). I don't have the means to travel physically to other lands, so I travel virtually. I'm going to say a special prayer tonight for peace on Earth.
