CJ . . and Robin

Dear Farmgirl Sisters,
I'm headed to my daughter's (also a Farmgirl here) place in Glendale, Arizona tomorrow to spend some time with her. Because of some health issues I really need a change of scenery and time with her.

Please pray for:
- safe and smooth travels
- time with my daughter and other farmgirl friends

Thank you so much!
God Bless You All!

Wow CJ!
I am sure glad you got home safely, Those sand storms are scarey, I was in one once in Kansas going through there when I was little and one time I was in one on the Salt Lake road going through Utah, It was good that we had a CB radio because the truckers were letting everyone know how it was ahead of us. You can't see a thing, How is the paint on your car after that?

I am just glad you are safely home.

Wow, I have never seen a sandstorm in person. That would have totally wigged me out. It sounds like you need your time with your daughter in the same way I need time with mine. dd just "gets" me. Dh says we share our own language and truthfully, we can get away with a lot of "shorthand" in talking to one another. I completely understand how much you enjoy an evening when Robin's hubby works late!

Glad you got the renewal you were seeking. I am about to see my dd in six days - but who's counting! ;)

Tried to get a shot of the "airborne" Arizona desert from yesterday's wind! Trust me, this pic does NOT give you the full effect! Wind so strong that even my Hyundai low profile car was rocking and rolling and hard to keep on the road at times. RVs/motorhomes, semi-trucks and other high profile vehicles parked along the road to wait it out.
At time we were forced to creep along at 20 mph with headlights and hazard flashers on. Red sand EVERYWHERE . . . could not see the sky nor anything along the highway
Today, I'm still feeling the weariness from the tension in my body . . .
So, thankful for God's protection and to be home. Today it is a beautiful, sunny day in southwest Colorado without wind!!

Home safe and sound. It was a TENSE trip because of horrendous wind and blowing sand all across the Arizona desert with almost no visibility at times. Terrible wind at home yesterday as well. Thanking the Lord for protection and safe journey and your prayers!

Well, my time with Robin is coming to an end and I must head back home tomorrow. It's been a refreshing time with her. We worked very HARD in her classroom this past week . . . MERCY ME! We were busy! Today we just did a bit of shopping and hanging out at her house. Her hubby is out of town for the weekend so it's been a girl's weekend.
Tomorrow I head back home and I ask for prayers again for safe travels . . . and for settling back into the routine with renewed strength, energy and focus!
Thank you farmgirls!

Our Backyard Glamper Party & Sleepover is over . . (waaaaaaa) We had a WONDERFUL time with just a few very special farmgirl friends and I'm so blessed and enriched because of it.

Robin and I took our glamped out tent down today and will move back into the house to sleep tonight as she goes back to work as a 2nd grade teacher tomorrow and I will go with her to help out in any way I can. I will be doing that every day this week before I head back home.

Today we've been doing this 'n' that, laundry, craft projects and just hanging out! Very special time indeed!
Thanks for your prayers and we appreciate continued prayers as we head to school tomorrow!

THANKS SOOOO MUCH!

Yup, Laurie, YOU ARE MISSED!!!!!!!!
Because of scheduling issues, we won't be having another Tea Party . . . kinda sad about that because last year we had the BESTEST and MOSTEST wonderful tea party.
But we'll enjoy the time we do have together!
So, you can think about us and we will think about you!
Hugs to you!
