Today would have been my parents 52 wedding anniversary. They celebrated their 50th in 2012. My dad passed away the end of April 2012. We you have a moment and are willing to lift my mom and our family up in prayer today, I would truly appreciate it!!

Thank you,

Lori

Me, too, Lori... I just found this post now. I will keep you, your Mom and your family in my prayers. Sharon - you all, too, for sure. So hard.

Susan - I love that saying - I'm going to have to remember that! Memories truly are such a blessing. It's so true: the love never dies!

Hugs -

Lori,

I just saw this also and am keeping your Mom and the whole family in prayer. My mom lives with us and the anniversary of my Dad's death is coming up soon so I understand. Hugs to you and your mom.

Wish all couples could make it to their 50th. That generation has so much to teach us all. Prayers sent your way.

Lori...praying for you...your mom...and your family...so happy your mom and dad got to spend so many years together...my mom and dad were married a little over 35 years when she passed away in 1983...I have never met a couple that had the wonderful sweet relationship that my parents had...I miss them both dearly...my father passed away in 2002...about 3 months after we celebrated his 80th birthday...

Hugs!

Special family days are the hardest when a loved one is gone. I will be praying that your Mom is able to think happy thoughts of great memories of those many years together. "Don't be sad its over, be happy it happened." Don't worry too much if there are moments that are not as cheery, they can be needed too. It is so important for other family members to be there, by a call, if not in person.
