I read online and my DH heard on a news report that the Country Music Group...The Band Perry has offered to pay for all the funeral services for this dear family who passed away in the deadly fire...I am sure they will be blessed tremendously for reaching out to help in time of need for this family and community...

I am asking everyone who knows the power of prayer to pray for a family and community who suffered a tragic loss today...a mother and 8 of her children died as a result of a house fire in Muhlenberg County...the father and the only surviving child is in critical condition in Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville TN...

I cannot wrap my mind around something so tragic happening to a family and community...

Please please pray for the father and surviving child...I don't think many of us could ever imagine something so tragic happening to our families...

Hugs!

Judy

Great idea Darlene.
Judy, is there a contact of any sort? or a place where donations are being sent?

Continuing prayers.
Is there anything we could do to help them.

Blessings

The news reported yesterday that the father and the only surviving child was discharged from the hospital and are staying with a relative...so sad...how do you ever pick up and go on after such a horrific tragedy...the only way I know is with the love of God...others and His grace and mercy...

Hugs!

My daughter and I were researching our family history yesterday and found out that
one of our relatives lost 9 children to a house fire. I couldn't help but think of this
family. I will continue to pray for them.
Have you heard how they are doing?

I can't even begin to imagine the hurt and confusion this brings to a community.
I will be praying for the family, community and gracious donors. I will especially pray
that God will not be questioned during this time. It often worries me that some will turn away instead of running to God in these tragedies.
Praying for all of my sweet sisters too.

Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: Here Am I.

How heartbreaking! Praying for the 2 survivors, friends, family, and the community. What a blessing the Band Perry is for helping out like that. That's wonderful.

Prayers are on the way, for the father and child, their physical and emotional recovery, and the relief of pain of for all who knew and loved the family. How suddenly the world can be turned upside down! It certainly is a reminder to all of us to let those near to us know we love them every day.
