Hello everyone,
I know my husband wouldn't love that I'm sharing this, but
I need a little prayer from my farm sisters.
Since before Christmas we have been hit with several large
financial setbacks- my car, dh's car, dryer, kitchen sink, kitty,
and dh's being laid off during winter break. (he works at a college
as a chef and they don't work during winter break- he couldn't
use his vacation time)
We always make it through, but I'm asking for prayer in just getting
us back on track. Our nest egg has finally cracked and emptied!
Thank you in advance for your prayers. If anyone can make me feel
ok about this- I know my sisters can.

Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: Here Am I.
-Isaiah 58:9

Thanks everyone! We are slowly getting back on our feet.
It always makes me nervous because I grew up with a single mom
working very hard and I think the childhood worries come back when
I feel the rug slip from under me. God is good to us. He does provide.
I know His timing is perfect and I don't question it- just get overwhelmed
sometimes. I think they are the times when He wants me to get on my
knees and I have been.
Again, thank you! Hugs to all!

Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: Here Am I.

Prayers continue Jenny, I do understand what you are going through, God is there with you and that was so neat your DH found that $20.

Blessings

Just follow God unquestioningly.
Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.

Jenny,
Just saw your post and wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you and DH. We have all been there once if not more than once in iur lives, and as Portia said, if not, then probably will be at some point in our futures. God will provide what we NEED, perhaps not fulfilling our "wants" at the very moment, but HE will provide and keep us in his love and comfort.
Blessings to you,

~Laurie

I loved seeing the message about the $20 appearance. It seems to me about a sign of good to come. I also like the idea of a reality road bump, I never thought of a tough time in those terms though I tend to stay positive in most cases.
Hugs,

Susan

Prayers going up, Jeny. I think everyone has been in your shoes at one time or another. If not, in this day and time, unfortunately, it will probably come. But, God is good. Trust in Him; He will provide.

Hugs,
Portia

You all don't know how much your prayers and positivity means to me.
Last night my husband had no money on him at all and he bumped his
visor by accident and a hidden $20 fell out! God is good to us!
I know we are going to be out of the woods- it just gets dark in the forest sometimes.
Thanks for your loving light girls!

Praying for your family- Jenny!!

Lori

God has promised strength for the day, rest for the labor, light for the way, grace for the trials, help from above, unfailing sympathy and undying love.

We are here to love each other, serve each other and uplift each other.
Cindy Lou Posted - Jan 20 2014 : 6:30:56 PM
Dear Jenny,
I'm praying that your troubles are soon far behind. Money isn't very important unless you don't have it! Take extra care of yourself and family through the stress that can arise. One way to look at it is that you have used up your quota of bad luck and good luck is stacking up in your favor.
Hugs,
Susan
