Happy New Year!!!I would like to thank God for all His many blessings in the past year...I look forward to everything He is going to do for all of us in the upcoming year of 2014...Therefore...it is time for our Winter Farm Girl Sisterhood Day of Prayer!
Jenny(aunt smelly) and I have discussed what a wonderful response we had for the Farm Girl Day of Prayer this past October 17th. I know that many of us faced a lot of struggles with different issues this past year. We feel prayer is much needed at this time...and most of all we know that God hears us when we earnestly pray and seek His face.
So...our Winter Day of Prayer will be Friday, January 17th. Please join us on this very special day!
I am asking that everyone put Connie's(Killarney)cousin Melissa on their prayer list. She is facing some difficult days ahead and needs our thoughts and most of all our support of prayer...
Please sign up showing your support...
Hugs!
Judy

Posted - Jan 17 2014 : 9:25:38 PM The day is done and I'm grateful for the privilege of praying, the opportunities to pray and that we CAN pray. It is the most powerful tool we have . . . but seem to use the least! But we must remain diligent in prayer . . . praying without ceasing! GOD BLESS YOU ALL! CJ

Posted - Jan 17 2014 : 2:22:24 PM My prayer for us: Lord, you have brought us together through this wonderful website, and we thank you. We give You praise and glory for being big enough and able enough and willing enough to allow everything that touches our lives to work for our good. Thank you that we, who have never met face-to-face, may gaze at You and know that You hold us all in Your hand. Thank you for the comfort that knowledge brings. I ask that we, who are sharing this day to lay our requests before You, will know you fully and the mighty power You work in us to do the good works You have prepared for us to do. Let us all sleep soundly tonight knowing that You are fully and completely in control. We pray for healing of bodies, minds, spirits, and relationships. We pray for deepening faith. We pray to be more loving. We love you. Amen
Blessings,
Carol Farmgirl 1823

Posted - Jan 14 2014 : 8:00:26 PM Hi Judy and Jenny, I just saw this post, as I have been absent a bit from the forum. I will most certainly reserve time this Friday to pray for everyone and their needs. My farmgirl sisters are always in my heart and prayers, even if I am not here on the forum daily. The sisterhood and feeling of being connected to like minded ladies is such a wonderful one, and I appreciate each and everyone of you! I really enjoyed the last day of prayer on October 17th. The unity was wonderful, and I look forward to it again this Friday. Thank you to both of you for keeping us organized and for the opportunity to show care and compassion towards one another. Blessings,
~Laurie "Little Hen House on the Island" Farmgirl Sister#1403
