Dear Farmgirl sisters,

My hubby, son and I are headed to our daughter's in the Phoenix area tomorrow (Friday) and returning home the next Friday, 11/29. It's for rest, relaxation, recuperation and family time.

Prayers are requested for:
- safe travels
- my car to run good and smoothly
- weather/road conditions to be decent (snow around Flagstaff is
forecast)
- a really blessed time together

Thanks so much . . . soooo appreciated!
Happy Thankgiving to all as well!
HUGS!

We are SOOOOOO in need of a laid back day we did NOT prepare a big meal today! We bought good frozen pizzas, made a yummy salad and that, my farmgirls friends, was our Thanksgiving dinner.
Later this evening it's ice cream sundaes! We all went to the park where the guys played disc golf, Robin and I went on a nice walk in the neighborhood, talked about glamping our little trailer and about our glamping gatherings coming up in 2014.
Driving back home tomorrow! Need to see how our kitty, Silky, is doing and "release" the neighbors from their cow-sitting and cat-sitting duties!!! THANKFUL FOR NEIGHBORS!!!

I've been thinking of you and praying, glad to hear you're safe and having fun. My brother and his family left from Dallas on Saturday before the bad weather hit. I pray for all who are traveling this Thanksgiving season, and I pray that some computer glitch will keep stores from opening on thanksgiving eve.

Three days of assisting my daughter in her 2nd grade classroom! BUSY! CRAZY! What a trip!
It was fun but it was exhausting!
We've decided we just want to do very little tomorrow (Thanksgiving Day) and go out to eat!
We had an early Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday when our daughter's in-laws were here from Vermont!
Thanks for prayers!

Thank you girls for your prayers. Our journey was safe and we arrived at Robin's in good time. It was a very, VERY WET journey.
350 miles of snow, and TONS and TONS of rain! Just a few miles north of Phoenix there was a traffic slowdown because of a rollover accident and it was raining very hard. A driver in the lane next to us nearly ran us off the road (the interstate!). . . it was a scary moment, but the Lord covered us with His protection!
It rained ALL NIGHT! The reservation and the desert are VERY, VERY WET!!

It's chilly, cloudy . . . and not a whole lot of Arizona sunshine, yet! Pray for our daughter and some issues with grown stepchildren . . .

THANKS AGAIN!
