Well, when it rains it pours. My girl has been sick all week. She's never sick and we've been to the doctor's twice this week. My elderly kitty is going down hill. He's running out of those nine lives for sure. He is twenty and it will be hard to lose him. And my grandma's last living sister is in the hospital in very bad shape. She is in her late eighties. I visited her down south in Arkansas when my dd was a toddler. Drove down with my mom. Send Christmas cards, but haven't called her in a long time, even though I always think about it. I knew I should. But then I would get busy and say I'd do it the next day. Now I feel so horrible about it. She's my last connection to my beloved grandma. I pray she pulls through.

I feel bad for my dd. We had such a great time last week in Florida with her grandparents and aunt, uncle, and cousins. Now this week she is fighting some sort of virus or something.

As for kitty, he is older than dirt as far as cats go, but I see old age winning now.

So, sweet sisters, when ya say your bedtime prayers tonight, maybe throw a few this way.

Farmgirl hugs,
Nicole

Thanks so much. Guess the stress got to me. DD is finally getting better (though still on the mend) and now I have a bad head cold thing going on. But I will mend.

Nicole,

I am sorry that you are dealing with all of this. It's hard enough but to have everything at once. I'm glad to hear that your Great Aunt is doing better and kitty too. I am still praying for your daughter and everyone else.

Thanks girls. Mom says her aunt is doing better than before (though still hospitalized). DD is still not feeling well, but is on the mend. Kitty had a hard day with the cold snap that came through, but the last day or two he is back to his sweet self. At twenty years, he is a little old man!

Farmgirl hugs,
Nicole

Nicole, sorry you are going through so much right now. I will be praying that things all work out for you. Just remember that kitty had a wonderful life and lived a lot longer because she was so well taken care of. Sending prayers and hugs to you and your family.
