He has been dealing with mounds of paperwork for his parents, who are both in need of extended care, came home from work today & had a rash of emails and MORE paperwork. He was beside himself (hubs gets up at 3 & gets home at 5, a LONG day)
Well, I insisted that he go sit in the sky chair, it just cradles your body and all stress disappears.
Until it breaks!!!
Jim went tumbling to the ground from about 3 ft up
It was surreal, as I was watching the mens US Open Final, & those tennis players scream quite a bit. I heard a scream that sounded a bit louder than the guys on the telly, and
I went outside to see hubs flat on his back
His coccyx is SOO bruised and/or worse as his left leg is slightly prone.
We spoke with the doc on call & he is set up for Xrays etc tomorrow.
On the plus side, he seemed a bit better after a mushroom, cheese, bacon omelet
So much for me and my relaxation recommendations!

Lisa,
Prayers for Jim that he will not be too sore after that incident. Tail bone bruising hurts quite a while when sitting. The sky chair sounded comfortable although I have never seen one.
Prayers for the stress you both are going through and prayers for his parents.

Have a calm day

Just follow God unquestioningly.
Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.

Thanks for prayers
No broken tailbone, just severe deep bruising.
As soon as he got the word, he was outside mowing, splitting wood and taking down an old fence.
I told him "You need to take it easy"
He said "The doc released me to go back to work, I am fine"
OYE
I know, I am thankful to have an industrious hubby, just hope it doesn't backfire
Thanks gals for your prayers!

Praying for you, your hubby and his parents.
I injured my tailbone as a teen and it still hurts at times.
I think another omlette may be necessary!

THanks guys.
He had an Xray today, but they haven't read it yet.
He can walk, but the doc said his tailbone may still be fractured.
Waiting to have the films read. THanks again

Lisa! OMG that is so sad, it made me giggle alittle...I watched the US open and can understand the grunting! I hope he is all better soon! And you did give good advise, Skychairs are great! Atleast if they don't break. Prayers for peace with all the paperwork.

Blessings

Oh my,
Prayers that your husband can be more comfortable during this physically and mentally trying time. I'm here for you if you need to vent. I pray also for his parents, it sounds as though they are going through their own difficulties.
God bless all of you.
