My co- worker is needing prayers right now. Her daughter, who is in her 2nd year of college, may be facing cancer for the third time in her young life. Recently, they discovered a lump in her thyroid and some swollen lymph nodes, which can be an indicator that the leukemia has returned. She is having surgery to remove her thyroid and the lymph nodes this week. Besides having a daughter who has battled cancer twice, this disease also took the life of my co-worker's husband and mother within a year of each other. Please put her and her family in your prayers this week. Thank you!

Update (8/11/2013): Thankfully, my friend's daughter came through her surgery with no complications. They are now waiting for the results of the biopsies. Keep the prayers coming ladies! Thank you!

Update (8/19/2013): Our prayers were answered! The biopsies came back benign! Thanks so much for your support everybody!

SO glad that the tumors were benign. What great news! Hoping things have settled for them now and that your co-workers daughter is recovered from her surgery. Joey

I'll be praying, too, Stephanie! So glad to hear she did so well with the surgery! Hugs - Nini
