More tornadoes hit Oklahoma today...Monday 05/20 near OK City...New Castle and Norman OK according to reports from CNN. Live reports around 5:00 EST. Buses are being held up at schools in all public schools.

Please pray for everyone in these areas. More tornadoes are forecast for this evening and tomorrow. Reports say there are more tornadoes to strike soon. There is baseball size hail with the storms CNN reports. These areas are highly populated.

PLEASE PLEASE PRAY!!!

Hugs!

Judy

Just received another email from Mercy Chefs. They will be serving dinner on site tonight, calling the situation "catastrophic".
They will need more help to provide meals for many more days.

Praying for the health and recovery of those who are still trapped or injured, and for peace for the families of the dead, the displaced...all affected. So sad.

I often donate to the American Red Cross in the state where a disaster occurs. I know that they are probably there right now, making sure that people have a safe, dry place to shelter tonight and providing comfort and aid.

Update!!!

24 or more children are missing in the devestating tornado. So many dead also. It looks like a war zone...they are comparing it to the tornado in Joplin, MO. Devestation as far as the eye can see. So so sad:( Please check on your farmsisters if you know anyone in those areas. Please post if you hear from anyone from OK in the tornado area. I am sending some of the farmsisters personal emails to pray for this area of our country. If you can...please do so too. There is much power in prayer. This dear devestated area needs all the prayers we can send.

Hugs!

Judy

No Deb, and I haven't seen or heard anything from Mary Beth- Okie Farmgirl either.
Keeping everyone in prayer. What a terrible sign of mother natures fury.
Cindy- I agree- the show of support from emergency personnel and everyone else is a true sign of just how wonderful people can be.

The news coverage is showing the incredible power of Mother Nature and the absolutely amazing bravery and resilience of all those first responders, neighbors helping neighbors; inspiring examples of the best of human nature.

If anyone has local connections of how to help those in the line of this storm, please post information.

Just saw the devastating storm that hit where there were at least 75 students in an elementary school.
Praying hard for everyone in these areas.
Please stay safe.
God Bless,
