Our hometown family physician passed away last night due to a massive heart attack. He was an incredible friend to everyone and he was what some would consider a saint. My mother has been curious as to why she has not receiving any medical bills (she has been sick quite a bit here lately)...She just found out that this wonderful man had been seeing her for free with no payment from insurance or anything. He just wrote "no payment" on all of her charts. Our town is very close knit (only about 1000 or so residents) so this is hitting us all very hard...Please say a few prayers for us if you don't mind.

grow for the cattle, and herb for
the service of man, that he
may bring forth food out
of the earth" Psalms 104:14

Jessica,I am sorry for the lose of this special man who it sounds like was a wonderful blessing to your community. May God be with his family and friends along with the community as a whole as they grieve this difficult loss and rejoice in the gifts that he gave them while here.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

Jessica,
What a loss, such an amazing person! I pray that your community finds a replacement with love in his or her heart too!

I have learned that to have a good friend is the purest of all God's gifts, for it is a love that has no exchange of payment.
by Frances Farmer

Just follow God unquestioningly.
Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.

I trust in you Jesus...
