Hi Sisters,
Just asking for prayers of comfort.
My next door neighbor passed away at home this morning. She has really been battling with many health issues for the past 3 years- she has been on oxygen, and had a feeding tube. She suffered for so long, and this morning she went home to be with the Lord, and now is at peace. Just asking for strength for her husband and daughter who were her caregivers.
She was a wonderful friend and neighbor, and we all know how hard good friends and neighbors are to come by.I will really, really miss her. She treated my son and daughter, like they were her grandchildren. She was a very caring person, who was always there for you.
Rest in peace Carolyn.

Thank you again everyone. Carolyn's wish was that she could help others, so her body was donated to the local University Medical Center.
She always wanted to be an organ donor, but due to her illness, that was not possible, so to her this was the next best option.

Laurie - You and your family and your neighbors are in my prayers. Carolyn sounds like she was a wonderful person - what a blessing - what a GIFT - to have had her share in such a special part of your lives! I'm sure you are the same blessing to her loved ones, truly, because that is how you are with all of us. Much love and warm hugs - Nini

Laurie,

So sorry for your loss of a good friend and neighbor. Thankful she will be in pain no longer, but it is hard for those that are left behind. Praying that all of your hearts will be flooded with happy memories to help you through this sad time.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Laurie- I understand your heart today, losing someone so dear to you is so hard on the heart, but knowing she in in the arms of our Lord and no more suffering. I will keep Carolyn's family and friends in my prayers.

So sad when you lose a good friend and neighbor--they are few and far between anymore. Sounds like she will be at rest, though and for that we should all be grateful. Thinking of them.
