My 18 dd and her boyfriend were in a one car, car accident last night. Thankfully they are okay, but will be very sore for a while. The car is a loss, but both air bags deployed and seat belts were on and worked.

Please keep them in your prayers for healing.

She's feeling better, but I don't have an update on her boyfriend just yet. She actually wants to go see her horse today, and possibly ride her. Thankfully, her friend is also home from college and will be there.

Kristine,

I am so glad that both your daughter and her boyfriend are OK. One of my adult children was hit earlier this year in a hit and run accident on her birthday. She walked away from the accident, but the car was totaled. It was such a frightening thing for her and for us as her parents...I can imagine what you are feeling today. Sending good thoughts to all.

Warmly,
Pam

Prayers continuing to go out to you and your family Kristina. As CJ said, your family seems to have been handed more than its share of obstacles recently. I am keeping you all in prayer.
Hugs and Blessings,

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..

Thank goodness they are okay. They both need to take it very easy to give their bodies time to heal. I was in a bad accident years ago and kept going as if nothing happened. The pain was incredible though and the internal bruising wound up taking over a year to heal. Take care & be careful, those slippery roads are the worst!

What's scary, is I had been on the road earlier in the evening. I knew it was slippery too. It was raining, cold and then sleet for a few minutes. I could feel the explorer sliding around when I drove on that road.

On the same night, there were more car accidents.

I'm very thankful they walked away from this. They are both very sore, and her boyfriend is worried our family will "hate" him for the accident. We let him know we do not, and are thankful that he's okay. His mother, however, is more concerned with his car than his condition.

Thanks again, for healing prayers.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Kristina, I'm so glad that they are ok. Sore is so much better than some of the alternatives. Car accidents shake up your whole body and they'll be sore in places that they didn't know existed (speaking from experience) so they ought to take it kind of easy for a few days.

They are very lucky to walk away from this accident. Doctors were very worried that my dd's clavicle was broken (thankfully it wasn't). Windows on her side were broken, as she took the brunt of this accident.
