Sisters, please say a prayer for my mom. She is a nurse and found out today that the place where she works has to let a nurse go. She will probably find out tomorrow if she has a job or not. She and my dad dont have alot of money, so Im concerned for them. Shes such a good lady, please send a special prayer her way. Thank you everybody.

UPDATE: Prayers do work! Mom will get to keep her job. Unfortunately, one nurse was let go, but her hubby has a good job so they should still be ok. Thanks everybody for your kind thoughts and prayers!

I am praying that she keeps her job and that the one nurse is the only one being laid off.

Prayers being sent for your mom. Hopefully no one will lose their job. Bad time of the year for that to happen. My hubby has been at the same place for 37 years and this time of the year is slow, so they close one day a week, that is 20% of his wages we lose, usually until after the holidays. He cannot use his vacation or personal days to make up for it either. We barely make ends meet without that, so we cannot save much for this time of year. We do manage though. God will provide.
