I would like to ask for prayers for a family I grew up with. Sweetest family of 11 kids, I used to hang out with the four oldest. (Actually dated the second oldest for two years.) We found out yesterday that one of the youngest kids (now 22) was killed in an accident while riding his bike to work on an Air Force base in Ohio. He was wearing a helmet, had lights on his bike and was wearing reflective clothing. He was hit by someone and instantly killed. I can't imagine the force at which he was hit. Please pray for his parents (this is the third time they've buried a child) and for all his siblings and their families. They are the most amazing example of a christian family I've ever met, even in this time of loss and sorrow. Please keep them in your prayers in this hard week they have ahead of them.

Continued prayers today for this sweet family. Tonight is the visitation and tomorrow is the funeral. Their grief is so heavy, you can feel it crushing them. And yet they are keeping their eyes on the Lord. Such an amazing family. :)

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
