Posted - Jul 17 2012 : 08:04:59 AM Could you pray for dh and I today. We are both working outdoors in the heat. He works outside at his full-time job, and I am working the gardens. Thank you. We can't see doctors (we lost the health insurance coverage this year). Please pray for my sanity and how I handle my kids. They are refusing to help with just about anything and I am at my wits end, especially today. The heat just makes it worse.

Posted - Jul 20 2012 : 08:55:04 AM Thank you so much. I've been cutting my work down to 2 hours every morning with just the weeding, and I come in drenched. We got more rain and cooled down today - YAY! (doin' the happy dance). It's so wet though, so I can't work in it today. It really drains me of my energy (the heat).

Posted - Jul 18 2012 : 7:12:54 PM Kristina, I will pray for your family. I totally understand what you are saying. Between this extreme heat, and the kids testing our patience..its enough to get to us for sure! Praying that you get what needs to be done, done and that you can muster up strength and patience to make it through the long hot difficult days. Hugs,

Posted - Jul 17 2012 : 11:41:08 AM Oh Kris, I'll send prayers. THe heat is a bit much, Huh? Maybe if you promised everyone ice cream when you decide to quit for the day? I was going to say, "when the work is all done," but work is never all done. Think about how nice a cool shower will feel. Hugs, Joey

Posted - Jul 17 2012 : 08:42:45 AM Am praying for you and your family. I wish I lived closer, I would be there at the break of dawn to help you with the chores. It is hard to get kids to do anything in the heat. They think they are the only ones suffering. Take many water breaks and walk through the sprinkler to cool off!!!!
