Thank you! Blessings, Linda www.scatteredlittleblessings.blogspot.com

Posted - Jun 17 2012 : 9:02:40 PM Linda, Prayers for a safe trip fo ryour grandaughter and that she ends up having a wonderful time with her dad! How old is she? Does she have to travel out of state? Perhaps if she does, you could come up with some "games" and fun facts about the state she is going to- maybe a scavenger hunt of things that are "popular" in that state/area that she has to try and complete while there? Also a care package to send her off with some of her favorite things to do, and/or the promise of mailing a surprise package to her each week etc might ease the anxiety of her leaving. Another idea may be to purchase a few of the inexpensive disposable cameras and ask her to take pictures, because you are curious what the area she is going to looks like etc- maybe you could even include scrapbooking supplies so she can make a summer scrapbook of her "adventure". Just a few thoughts- hope they help. Hugs,
