I know I don't come into this forum much, but when I do see people needing prayers in other forums, I send them out. I'm asking for healing prayers. My mom went in for her mammo. in Dec. 2010. 5 Calcifications were found. They post poned a second mammo until this month. There were changes in the calcifications and she has to go in for a biopsy on the 14th. I went in for my mammo in May this year. Got notification that it was abnormal on Fri. Went in to my ob/gyn to find out what is going on yesterday after work. I may have a calcification. I have to go in for another mammo. The secretary at my ob/gyn and the mammo scheduler are playing phone tag. Please keep both my mom and me in prayer. I just lost my maternal grandmother this spring and couldn't go to the funeral. I have a 4 1/2 yo son and my hubby. This is going to be hard if my mom and I have to go through this together. JUst scared and have a million things going thru my head right now. Thanx.

This is so hard for both you and your Mom. Take it one day at a time and remember that we are all here praying you both thru this scary time and sending gentle hugs. Waiting to hear the good news. Joey

I did some research on webmd.com and found that breast calcifications can be either benign or malignant. So, there is a little relief, but will know more next week. Taking one day at a time. That's all I can do. Thanx again for the prayers.
