My husband suddenly lost his job yesterday. No warning at all. Please pray that he will find a job in NYC where I am looking and we can all be together again. I think it was a blessing in that he was killing himself working for them and driving back and forth on the weekends.
Also, I think my interview (number 3)in the city went well yesterday. They do even more interviews---this is like trying to get job with the FBI! Please keep us in your prayers. Meanwhile, we are trusting God to do his will.

Hugs,
Portia

Portia,
I know how hard it is to find work these days. Prayers for a good outcome.

Thanks again for your prayers. I think the job interview last week went well. No word yet. My husband already feels better not having to travel. He has some consulting jobs lined up while he is applying to other places. Everyone has been so caring. God bless you all.

Hugs,
Portia

Thank you for all your prayers, everyone. We got all our things in VA over the weekend and returned home to NY last night. I know you will continue to pray and I appreciate it very much. You are a wonderful group of people. I am truly blessed.

What a terrible thing to have happen, Portia! But you have the right attitude: if his job was killing him, this really is a blessing in disguise. Hang tight, I'm sure that good things are in store. I will pray for both of you! I hope you both find jobs right away and that they will be so much better than you could ever have hoped for! Blessings and hugs - Nini

Portia,
I am so sorry to read this post! As the others have said maybe the timing is just right and you will land the job in NYC and he will find a new and better job right there beside you in NYC so you can be together and he wont have to be doing all of that commuting. God does have a plan, now is the time to trust your faith and know that he will provide for you both.
Continued prayers are coming your way.
Hugs,

~Laurie

Portia, I'm so sorry to hear about DH job. Must be so dissapointing for him. Maybe your getting a job will be just in time. God knows the plans He has for you, plans for a hope and a future, not for destruction. Let me know what I can do to help.
