Farmgirls, I need your power of prayer.

I was hoping to have the summer to buy fencing and barn stall (and roofing) supplies to move the goats to another barn.

However, as I was hanging laundry on the line, I heard metal banging. We had very bad winds yesterday. I walked around and saw the roofing pulling off the largest barn (where we have the goats in one end. The roofing is just peeling off. I am so saddened and sick, but know that prayer can produce miracles.

We just don't have the cash for supplies and we now need it much sooner. There is no sense of fixing the large barn. It needs torn down and a new one built. It's the original barn from the first homesteader's here (about 1954). We just can't afford to preserve it and we need to move animals before they get hurt.

Prayers would be appreciated in finding an honest company or person to buy the old barn wood and tear it down.

When it rains it pours Kristina! I am sorry that you are going through a rough patch right now. Give DH a change to digest it all and work through it, then together you can take one day at a time and tackle it together.
Hugs,

Thank you for all your prayers. It actually looks worse now....sigh...
Dh is in a sour mood over it, and along with a possible very expensive surgery on our billy goat, he's upset about money issues. Not to mention the 300 ft of goat fencing etc we needed like yesterday.

Thanks! We truly appreciate the prayers you send up. :)

Thank you. It must have started happening yesterday and it's windy today too.

I've called dh to tell him. Here is a side view.

Kristina,

I am praying for the Lord's provisions for you. I know it can be frustrating when things are tight (and how!) Maybe you could place an ad in Freecycle or Craig's list for the materials needed.

Can you find someone in the area tearing down a barn or house and recycle the materials, a lot of time if you will tear it down and haul it they will let you have it. Good luck I understand the lack of funds all to well!! Roxanna
