Posted - Mar 12 2012 : 08:36:05 AM I know how powerful prayer can be, and a young girl needs all she can get right now. This girl is a high school student and a member of the FFA show team with all of my children. She was on her way home from work last night, and the roads were wet. No one is sure exactly how or what happened, but she left the road and hit a tree. She was taken by MedFlight to a hospital in Little Rock, and is in ICU in critical condition. Please say a prayer today for this sweet, beautiful sixteen year old and her family.
I will be going to Little Rock tonight to check on her mom and her progress. I can update tomorrow morning.
***UPDATE*** This young girl was sent to Tulsa for another surgery a few weeks ago. She is now at home, still recovering, but doing extremely well. Doctors are amazed at her progress and her strength. God is great -- all the time!!! Thank you for all the prayers and support sent for this sweet girl. Keep praying for continued recovery.

Posted - Mar 15 2012 : 06:28:58 AM Destiany's surgery went well yesterday. She will not have surgery today, though. The doctors moved the surgery to tomorrow. Her mom is able to stay in the ICU room with her at night. The family is receiving lots of support from family and friends, and they are keeping a positive outlook. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
