Posted - Feb 29 2012 : 12:53:06 PM Hi Portia- I am on Long Island, Suffolk County. Located half way between Manhattan and Montauk. (a little over an hour from each). I have lived here all my life and probably always will since my DH does not want to leave Long Island. I would be happy living further out East- on the North Fork of the Island, if money would permit. It is extremely expensive to live on Long Island! Hoping that it works out for you with the job, but as you said- if you are already having a "feeling" about the lady and the $$ isnt there, then perhaps it isnt meant to be. Where in NY are you? What type of job were you going for?

Posted - Feb 29 2012 : 12:01:00 PM Thank you, Laurie, for checking on the job situation and for wishing me a happy birthday. The agency will decide by March 9th. Not sure I want to work for the lady, though. Also, I guess they did not look at my salary requirement because the pay is not good! And, you are correct: something better will come. Where in NY is your town?
