Dear Sisters, these days I feel like I am always asking for prayer. My thoughts are in a whirl and just won't stop. I was fired from my job tody thru no fault of my own, but it was very complicated and all the dust hasn't fallen yet and they may take me back. I really don't want my job back..it has been so stressful. I've been thinking of changing jobs since 7/11 but something always came up so that staying there was needed. My Dad died 1/3/12 and I've just been trying to hold it together till I get it together. I have always had such great job evaluations. This has been a very difficult 2 years for me. I'm not even sure what I want to do next. We may go back on the travel road or move to NC near my daughter. I don't want to start a new job here to leave in a few months. I'm hoping this is Gods way of providing me with some time to rest. I'm hoping I can collect unemployment for a few weeks and just breathe. I am not even sure what I am asking for prayer for,I just KNOW I need it. Thank you for letting me "talk." Joey

Joey,

I will pray that God will give you peace through all of this.
He loves you as do your farmsisters. He promises to never forsake
you. We farmsisters will not forsake you either. Remember Joey,
we farmsisters, are all connected by our hearts, and each farmsister
has a special place in each of our hearts.

I'm glad your boss got to the bottom of this situation and reinstated
you. I am sure you are a very valuable employee and friend to all
you work with. Unfortunately, some bosses are quick to drop the hammer, without first listening and sorting through their thoughts
before making rash decisions.

Please do try and get some rest. Take care of yourself, and know
that you are loved bunches and bunches!

please send me your address.

Joey, I am glad that you got your job back and that at least you can stay there for as long as YOU want- until you are ready to move on. Praying that you feel our love and support for you, as you move through this difficult time. I lost my dear grandfather 2 years ago this January and then lost my dear dad 7 months later, so I can relate to how you are feeling.
Hugs Sister,

Thank you all for your support. Wed. night my boss called and said that now that she had talked with the other person involved she agreed with my possition and I was "hired" again. I worked yesterday. The rumor mill goes so fast. Everyone was so suprised that I was there. Much as I am not happy there, I do like most of my co-workers and I will probably leave sometime this summer and go back on the road for a year. I didn't want to start a new job and just leave after a few months. My job also changed to 12 hr shifts last week and I am enjoying the ER being quiet in the morning. I used to work 3-11 and we were super busy all night. I must say, this is the first day I have felt "normal" in years. I still feel like I should go to the Nursing Home and see Dad but I am getting better. Big hugs to you all, Joey

Joey,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Father. I am praying for comfort and peace for you. I agree with the other ladies about your time away from work being a blessing not a curse. Utilize it to rest and be restored, to get back on track and do things for you, most importantly take advantage of this time to spend with the Lord and seeking Him. You are in my prayers Joey!

Joey, everyone has said it so beautifully. I can only add that I am praying that God will give you peace, comfort and strength during this time in your life. As each day passes things will get better and as you breathe and rest you will get a clearer picture of what you want to do.

You need time right now! Take it and relax. Then you will know what to do.

Joey, Emily has good advice for you, been there done that, laid off from my job do to a supervisor that had problems and took out on me, the owner admitted this after too late and I decided not to go back also. Moved to Maine 7 months later, retired and LOVE it, my husband quit his job to do and we were not sure if we could make it without jobs, god has been good to us and we are both enjoying our new life. Prayers and thoughts go your way, it will work out.

Joey, you said you had been unhappy at your job for quite a while. I'm thinking this is God's way of getting you out of that unhappy situation. Take this time off and do something for you. Relax. Laugh. Spend time with people that make you happy. I feel like something good is coming your way!

OH Joey- I am so sorry to hear that you have been handed so much in such a short amount of time. Breathe and know that we are hear to listen and help always. God works in mysterious ways sometimes and as you said this may be his way of clearing the way for your next step. Pryaing for you that you can take a few weeks off, and have time to yourself. Keep your mind and heart open and God will show you the way.
Hugs,

~Laurie

Joey, you need to rest and take time to grieve. Collect unemployment and see what life holds for you, don't rush into anything. Remember God Does Not Give Us Anymore Than He Thinks We Can Handle. Take Care of yourself.
Prayers being said for you.

I agree with Annika, just rest and give yourself some time. You've had so much happen in the last few weeks you haven't even had time to catch your breath. So prayers are going out to and for you. Blessings Marlee
