Posted - Jan 09 2012 : 11:01:49 AM Ruth Ann~ My prayer for you today: To your muscles all around your back and legs, I acknowledge that you are tense. I am envisioning you relaxing and warm. To your nerves that make up the sciatica, I acknowledge that you are angry and irritated. I am envisioning that you find some peace and relief. To your heart which is probably beating a few extra beats for fear and pure discomfort, I ask that you regain your gentle rhythm. I am envisioning strong beats with plenty of blood flowing to all the right places. To your lungs which are labored to breathe through pain. I ask that you allow Ruth Ann to take slow deep breaths filling you completely so she can gently exhale and relax. I am envisioning deep healing breathing. To your mind which is probably racing for lack of sleep, distraction and total discomfort. I acknowledge how powerful you are. I am envisioning your strength and courage to get through this bout of irritation with tenacity and presence.
Dear Ruth Ann, to you so full of prayer for others..may your spirit find comfort in all these well wishes..May you experience healing and relief soon. I send my love and light. ~julia hayes

Posted - Jan 08 2012 : 1:51:42 PM Hi Ruth Ann,
Just saw this and am glad you are having a little relief. I deal with sciatica problems too and what has worked for me is using a recumbent bicycle. It makes a huge difference. I am praying for comfort and relief for you.
