I am so sorry for whatever is going on in your life to feel this way. I think everyone has felt this way at some point in their lives. Just remember that God never forgets you. Things happen in HIS time, no matter how much we want it to happen in OUR time. May the Lord give you the peace that passeth all understanding. Trust, have faith, and believe. God is an awesome God!

Posted - Dec 20 2011 : 5:44:50 PM Dear Marian, I hear the cry of your heart and I am so sorry for this dark time in your life. I am praying for your comfort and strength and sending good thoughts to you across the ocean and over the miles. I agree with Grace that there are several going through dark times right now and we can find courage in the support of our Farmgirl sisters. I went through a dark time last summer and the kindness of others, including our Farmgirl sisters, was such a help. Wishing you well,

Posted - Dec 17 2011 : 4:25:04 PM Marian--I doubt that anyone is immune from feeling cold and empty at times--even Mother Teresa experienced it. She wrote about it in letters to her confessor (priest) and you can read them in a book, Come Be My Light. Praying for you and hoping this veil of darkness lifts and the Joy of the Christ Child fills your heart. cindy

Posted - Dec 17 2011 : 07:35:14 AM Marian,
I am so sorry that you are going through a hard time. I can understand feeling empty and cold, please don't let this stop you from praying. We have a faithful God who is with us wherever we go. Cling to Him, He is clinging to you. Heavenly Father, I lift up our sweet friend and sister Marian to you. Father You know her heart, You know what she is going through. Father I ask that you would bring Marian peace in her heart and comfort and strength. I pray that You would just lift her up and give her a big hug. Father You can do anything and we trust in You to see Marian through this time. I pray this in Jesus' name.
Marian, please remember that He is faithful and will never leave us nor forsake us. Some verses for you: Isaiah 41:10, Isaiah 26:3 and Joshua 29:11.

Just checking in to see if all is better. I thought of you so much last night it was hard to sleep - don't do much of it to being with but I was on worry mode. Too many of the folks I know (Including myself) are feeling more then hard times right now and I think we need to band together and share the strength that we have to grow strong and in the light. Please email if you get a chance I would love to hear from you but just know I am sending Love, Light and Hope your way. Hugs my dear.

Posted - Dec 16 2011 : 05:12:19 AM Marian, I am praying that you feel the warmth from all your sisters on this forum. I know that virtual hugs are not the same but know that we are all hugging you in this time of sorrow for you. I got your e-mail about the subscription and the Holiday issue. I was hoping you would get that one. I am in SC right now visiting my DD, but when I get back I will send my issue out to you. Maybe it will lift your spirits a little. Hugs and prayers to you my friend.

Posted - Dec 15 2011 : 5:58:38 PM Oh, Marian, if you read my "depression" post from last Sunday, you will see that I can definitely identify with what you must be feeling.
I will gladly lift you up in prayer. I don't want you or any other farmgirl sisters to feel the pain we've experienced.
I don't know what else to say except it is obvious from these many posts that you are loved. We care. Draw strength from that.
Hugs and more hugs, Darlene

Posted - Dec 15 2011 : 4:55:07 PM Marian my heart is aching for you. I have been in that pit of dispair, where darkness surrounds you, empty inside and the inability to utter a word in prayer for all feels hopeless. I am shedding tears for you my sister, and lifting you up in prayer with all your other farmgirl sisters. Angels surround you to give you peace and much needed strength. We are here for you. We care. Heartfelt Hugs to you. |
