Posted - Dec 16 2011 : 11:28:17 AM Hubby expected to be treated the way he would treat others - he's a very honorable man. I had to remind him the decision was business, not personal, and welcome to the corporate world. He's still a bit mopey this morning, but he'll get over it. He needs to embrace what he's been given. I spent yesterday afternoon borderline hyperventillating waiting to hear what would happen, but now that I know, I feel 100 pounds lighter (the load lifted from your shoulders diet LOL).
Thanks again, all!

Posted - Dec 16 2011 : 06:59:45 AM Sometimes when we get an answer we do not like or wish we want to fight against it as if we can change it but if we lean into it it just might have been the right answer we could not imagine.... I am there with your husband - I sometimes think I can control an outcome but then I listen, pray and be still and lean.. Not my favorite thing to do but I think that is why it is there - to teach us to bend.

Posted - Dec 14 2011 : 1:32:47 PM Sometimes change is good in the long run. I did not want to lose my house 14 months ago but we are in a good spot now even though I am looking for a job. Hope you and yours work out the issues that go with change. I'm not that far away, in fact I was in Oswego on Saturday, please give me a call if you need anything. email me and I will send my phone number.
Merry Christmas

Posted - Dec 14 2011 : 07:24:49 AM Not sure if it was the answer that Hubby wanted to hear, but I saw this coming for a while and knew that this was how things would be. He's the optimist, I'm the cynic. It will mean some pretty big changes here, but that's ok. I think we had gotten too comfortable with the status quo.

Posted - Dec 07 2011 : 6:18:28 PM Ann I am still praying for you and your husband - I know when we come to that fork in the road a clear voice would be helpful. Get quite and that inner voice will give you the knowing. I am struggling with that fork in the road as well and prayers and quite time is vital.
Know that we are standing strong for you two...

Posted - Dec 07 2011 : 12:12:33 PM Wanted to thank you all again, and give an update of sorts. Seems the "one way or the other" will be coming soon - like possibly next week. When that fork in the road comes, we just need to know whether we go left or right. The Lord has given us several pretty strong hints, and it will just be a matter of getting through some transition time.
Thanks again, all!
