I am asking for prayers if you would - my 27 year of son had a blood clot to the brain out of no where - the Angels helped by having him pulled over by pollice and they called EMT's. ER Doc gave him shot's that saved his life. 48 hour's later he is walking, talking and confussing the doc's because they have not seen such recovery. I have been praying since the moment this has happened and really need the power of everyone to keep his body mending and that they do not find a really horrible reason for this. His father passed of this 15 years ago so you can see why we all need your help. I thank you in advance for the love, kindness and prayers you have showered me with in the past and this I ask not for me but for my son who has soon much to be here for that it is way too soon.... Blessings and Love for reading this...

Grace,

I am lifting up your son to our Almighty. I am so glad the angels took care of him. He is in my prayers---as are you. Nothing hurts worse than something happening to your children.

We too are bracing for the storm here, we already have 4 inches, our son Kent is suppose to come home tomorrow from Denver, we will see, he may have to wait until Friday.
Take Care Dear Grace and stay warm and safe.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone.

Nick celebrated his 28th birthday Monday - WOW I can not believe I have had him in my life for so long and expecially after what happened.. To celebrate he took a three hour bike ride in the falling snow - that's my boy!!!!

Yep, the farm got the storm and bracing for another on Wednesday - I would not mind but I did not get to the feed store for dog food - so the freezer might get a little lighter - the dogs will be thrilled. Might try early early in the morning before the snow but with taking care of another person 120 sheep I am already up at 4 am not sure if I can do earlier and still function.

Again, thank you ladies fr all the prayers, great wishes and long distant love. I can not tell you how much is has kept me going..

Grace,

Hope that all continues to be well. Sending good thoughts for Nick and your whole family. I don't know if you are far enough south to be getting this snow storm that is moving through...regardless, stay well.

Warmly,

As I was working outside today in the bitter cold getting the farm caught up after all the subzero temp's and three hour animal checks I was so thankful to have such wonderful, caring farm girl friends who I have never met but owe so much to. I sharded with Nick all your wonderful writings and let him know that he has angels all over watching out for us. I give thanks for Nick recovery and I also give thanks for my wonderful farm girl friends. You are in my heart and prayers everyday.

Hugs

We got the last of the blood panels back and the doc's can not find one thing that would have caused this and they are not finding any lasting issues from the stroke. They will run more blood panels in about two weeks and then a series of eeg's and ekg's in January but I know that all will be perfection.

I again thank you all for your wonderful kinds works, prayers and healing light that you gave our family. I must say I will be so glad to see this year end - not one of my fav's... But, it has shown me that all the things I have laid down and no longer give time and attention to is just that - pebbles along the road....

Grace, This is so amazing! Sad that it happened, but so thankful that the cop was there to call the EMT and the ER doctor was able to give him the medication he needed. God is good. Prayers for Nick's continued health and to ease his mind about being alone.

You have my good thoughts and prayers as Nick continues in his recovery and I am just so happy that your son is doing well. Please take good care of yourself...this last week has to have been very difficult for you too.

Grace, these two verses from Proverbs have been my mantra for the last few days. We don't always understand why we go through certain trials. Sometimes God brings us to a place where we have no other choice but seek His ways, His direction, and lean totally upon Him. And when you think about it, that is what we should do in the first place!!

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

I'll gladly continue praying for you both!

Oh my goodness, Grace, I just saw this. I've been offline since Wednesday. Bless you, bless Nick. I can't believe it--but I too think the blood panel will be "ok" and this is just...freak.

Please keep us posted and I'm so sorry I didn't see this so as to offer encouragement sooner. You are often in my thoughts, otherwise, but now more than ever!!!!

I wanted to give everyone an update on Nick - He has had several days at home taking it easy and resting... Tomorrow his Mother in Law will go back home and his wife will be back at work so I will come into town and stay with him. He is still a bit nervous to be alone and I understand so where else would this Mother be???

We hope to have the blood panels back by Wednesday and he has a doc's appointment with the neuro team and I know that all will be well. If you have the time and will I am still requesting that he is kept in prayers - his spirits are weighting on him and I hope to help more tomorrow to get him back to what he knows to be true. So much in today's world picks at one's soul - that is why it is so important to be surrounded by loving souls who truly want the very best for us.

You all are my Angel's and I give thanks everyday that you are in my world and in my prayers... Hugs and Blessings
