Posted - Nov 22 2011 : 06:12:53 AM 12/19/11: Had the most lovely phone conversation with Debbie yesteday afternoon. SOOOOOOO GOOD to hear her voice!!! She is recovering, but it will take some time . . so your prayers and encouragements are still appreciated! She and her hubby are SOOOOOOO GRATEFUL for all of you!!! CJ
12/01/11: Thursday UPDATE: I hadn't heard any news about Debbie in a week, several farmgirls were asking and I have been wondering . I dug around in my resourcefulness and called her home. I wasn't able to speak to anyone but left a message. I took off on my power walk and when I got home there was a message from Debbie!!! IN A NUTSHELL: she started running a fever and was back in the hospital for treatment of an infection. She said she's: -been home though for a couple of days, infection seems to be under control but she is quite weak. -she's "alright" and "going to be okay" -she LOVES ALL OF HER FARMSISTERS and has a lot of "Thank You's" to say and hugs to pass out. -"Big Buz" is SOOOOO thankful for all of you and all of the cards you've sent to HIM, as well as EVERYTHING you have done and are doing for Debbie. -SO THANKFUL FOR THE PRAYERS ! Asks for continued as she has much recovery ahead.
She sounded good to me . . . I just wished I hadn't missed her call!! But I'll try to call her again in a couple days or so.
THANKS again farmgirls for all you have done for Debbie and Skip! CJ
11/30/11: Wednesday UPDATE: Debbie is HOME!!! HALLELUJAH!! Her hubby emailed me late last night to let me know. She was so overjoyed with all your cards, packages and blessings she was brought to tears and offered prayers of gratitude for everything you all have done for her. Recovery will be long . . please continue to pray! Debbie and "Big Buzz" say THANK YOU in the "hugest" way possible Thanks from me to! CJ
11/29/11 - UPDATE: Debbie's hubby says this morning in his email that Debbie is going home later today!! HALLELUJAH!!! He continues to say THANK YOU to all of you! And asks for continued prayers for her healing and recovery as it will be a very long road. Thank you so much! CJ
11/27/11 - UPDATE: Debbie's hubby sent me an update email last night. She is doing better, doctor is planning on discharge on Tuesday. She has a very long road of recovery ahead. Her hubby says "your continued prayers will be appreciated, and thank you all for all you are doing". Thanks for everything girls! CJ
Dear Farmgirls, Many of you already know that "buzzn bee" . . Debbie Horn . . had major surgery on the 15th. She is in our Mail Art group and her hubby has sent me a couple email updates on how she is doing. He had sent an email a couple days ago saying they thought she would be coming home today. This morning he sent another to say that she has had a setback and would not be able to come home until later this week. He is asking for continued prayers. Our Mail Art group, the RAOK group and our Henhouse Chapter have already been sending cards . . and praying!! So, on Debbie's behalf . . and her hubby because it's hard on him as well . . . please pray for her recovery and wellness and that she can go home sooner rather than later.
AND, cards are greatly appreciated. If you don't have her address, email me and I'll get it to you.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING and CARING! CJ
