Hi gals, just wanted to ask for some positive thoughts for my in laws who were in a four wheeler accident a few days ago. My mother in law was driving over a bridge on a trail when the bridge broke and sent she and my husband's niece into a ravine (maybe 8 feet down). My father in law, was back at the cabin and in his speed to get out to help them on his four wheeler, rolled off his wheeler. It's a long story with crazy details which I will hopefully have a chance to post later, but long story short they are back home. Niece is fine (just sore), mother in law shattered her elbow and its in six pieces (she's in surgery today to put it back together) and my father in law has a broken vertebrae and six broken ribs. So...injuries are never fun and it will be a slow recovery, but we all know both accidents could have been so much worse. Thanks for your positive thoughts!

Thanks for the thoughts, gals. Everyone is home now. After mom-in-law had surgery to put her elbow back together she had a couple scares in the hospital with her heart, but things are ok now. We were all up there at the hospital and I joked with her she was just trying to get us all together before Christmas. ;) My father in law is recovering slowly, but surely. He can at least be up and moving around the house now. Still isn't any fun to cough or laugh. :( He is bummed out though because he doesn't get to go up for deer hunting now. I think maybe I'll bake them a cake and bring it to them tomorrow when we visit. :)
