I know that sometimes I am a bit naive, but I can't help but be distressed by the amount of hate that the world has. I just can't stop thinking about it tonight and I wanted to just send a big loving hug to all of my farmgirl sisters. Know matter how differently I believe, think, dress, worship or vote from any of you, you are all my sisters, a big beautiful world wide quilt of lovely women. With out getting too religious here and getting in trouble, I try to follow the examples of Jesus and give of myself and love others. I was so dispirited after looking at the news , all of the hate, fighting, death and plain old bad every where. I want to make a difference right now! So, big hugs to all of you, and pass it on =)

I agree with you, Annika - I can't believe how much anger and hate is out there. But I'm thankful there is love and kindness, too. This sisterhood forum is evidence of that. I care about all of you - and I send hugs.

Thank you! You just made my day. Sending one right back to you and one to every other lovely lady on this amazing site. It's so wonderful to see something good going on in this lost world of ours. I knit comfort shawls to send out to people. I look at it as my way of sending a warm hug. I don't have to know the person personally, but if they are in need of a hug, I send them a shawl. I am on a mission to send out as many as I possibly can. I just wish that I could knit as fast as I can send them out!

The world needs more hugs! I feel the same way, but if I dwell on it, I get really discouraged. I just visit MJF and feel better. Big hugs and good thoughts to all my farmgirl sisters!
