I just got an e-mail that her matril heart valve has been leaking for the last 6 months. The doctor sees another open heart surgery in the near future (she's already had 2 in the last two years). Also, her hemoglobin is too low. If she can't get her hemoglobin up, they can't do the surgery at all. Please pray.

Her name is Bonnie. The worst part is she and I have been on "bad terms" and I have only talked to her via e-mail a few times over the summer. We are slowly communicating again.

She is worried, because if she does have the surgery (survival is better with surgery) her breast bone will need broken again and that is how she had a nerve get damaged (which collapsed her lung and put her on oxygen).

I'm trying to help her with natural ways to increase her iron. They are giving her pills and it's not working. I may drive over and bring her a jar of homemade pumpkin butter and a jar of raw honey(I heard honey can help too). I may pick up some arugula and make a salad with that and fresh spinach.

Prayers to you and your Mom at this difficult time. Please tell us her name, it is easier to pray with a name.

Don't go with the flow...you are the flow.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
