Hi girls. My brother has (finally) send me an email this week, explaining why it took him so long to answer mine to him. He has a bad case of Pink Eye or as they call it in Thaiand: Red Eye Desease
He can't stand any light, sits with the curtains drawn, almost no light. Sunglasses on in the house etc. Has a lot of pain etc. The screen on his puter is off (he has the sound on so hears when there is email)and even the little dot on the tv that says it is on stand by is bothering him! He has medicine and they are helping a little tiny bit.
Could you please say a little prayer that the Pink Eye will be getting better soon??

* And for me as well. I have a real bad case of the flue, and bronchitis. I even had to call the dr. in the middle of the night because I was severely short of breath and afraid (I live alone, no family) And since yesterday I have a medicine for the shortness of breath. I can't say one sentence without needing to breath deeply so.... With those meds I am not even allowed to go out in direct sun duh. And this weekend is supposed to be the FIRST real nice-sunny weekend we've had all summer!!!

If you have some free time I would really appreciate your prayers for brother and myself.
Thanks girls

Answer to pray! Glad you are feeling better. But like everyone says, don't overdue it because those things can get worse real quick.

Excuse the mess & the noise, my children are making happy memories

Glad to hear your meds are starting to work. Don't be in too much of a rush to get well and get busy. Bronchitis can last up to 3 weeks before you're back to a normal level. It's a great time to watch some long movies.

Thanks y'all. I AM feeling better, started to do so today. The meds are finally kicking in, PTL! Still coughing etc but not as *out of breath* as I was last week. Nope, not working yet, maybe Thursday I will start again, then only 3 days so a good way to start slowly.

Thanks SO much for all the prayers. Brother is doing a lot better too, got an email from him today and he told me the Pink eye is almost better YAY

Hey Marian -

Praying you and your brother are much better real soon! If you get a chance, skip over to the Welcome Wagon thread - there is another new Farmgirl there from the Netherlands - maybe she is close to you?

Hugs,

Saying a prayer that you both feel better soon. I've been having shortness of breath, too, and it's no fun.

Dutchy, don't worry, you and your brother will be okay. It may take a while but you both have your medicine and just be positive and no need to be afraid, you are a strong woman and will be fine. There will be plenty moresunny days and you will really be able to enjoy them. How about you snuggle in this weekend and do some knitting, listen to some soothing music and of course.....have a nice cup of tea. (my english "cure-all" for everything )
