Posted - Aug 24 2011 : 7:42:22 PM A few weeks ago I requested prayer for me and my husband that we would find jobs (we were both laid-off from our jobs the first of this year). I'm happy to report that I have found a job and I start in a couple of weeks!! It will be a 50 mile commute one way but I don't care. I'll be working with someone I've worked with before and we get along really well.
The other good news is that my husband has a chance at a job in the same city and it would be great if we could ride together. He would also be working with folks known to him. Please keep us in prayer that if it is God's will, this will work out.
These past few months have been difficult on so many levels. I can't tell you the number of times I've had to recall that you all were praying.
Praying for you, Darlene

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce, Or a trouble is what you make it! And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts, But only--how did you take it?
