Posted - Nov 05 2010 : 1:56:12 PM I bumped into a friend today, a lady I used to work with. She is always so bright and cheerful when I see her that I just had no idea things were so rough for her. Her husband left and then she has had to battle breast cancer on her own and is trying to date but feeling very lost and lonely. My heart just ached for her as she was telling me what had been going on. Would you all please say a little prayer for her today? She is such a sweet lady and she has brightened my day so many times. I pray the Good Lord will send a little sunchine her way.
Thank you! Hugs~ Melanie

Posted - Nov 06 2010 : 09:04:43 AM Prayers are on the way. She definately has had a lot to deal with. It takes time to deal with loss. And then dealing with cancer on her own had to be a terrific strain. Sometimes it seems that two such trials at once is a tremendous burden. It will take time but studies show that people who have had a positive outlook, bright and cheerful, tend to return to those traits after loss or tragedy when they have had a bit of time. Maybe she is trying to date too soon and just needs some time to get to know the person she is now. She needs to find her own strength rather than looking for it in a relationship. Susan
