I know I haven't been on much lately girls....as some of you know, a big litter of puppies and some problems at home are just wearing me out.
My uncle and godfather, is having open heart surgery tomorrow. He has an aneurysm, has to have a bypass done, and a valve fixed. It will be an all day surgery. I will be there as his family member contact, as he has no spouse or children, and my dad and their sister cannot be here for it.
My cousin and I(the only girls) will be there for him, but it is a risky surgery. I am sad that he is going through this, but he is healthy, so I am hoping and praying everything will work out fine.
I just wanted to ask if you would all pray for him and his quick recovery. Thank you.

Will be keeping all of you in my prayers. DH just had some surgery and although it wasn't serious like this, you get tired. And being women, we are expected to soldier up and keep on going. I will pray for his recovery and for you to be strengthened through all of this.

Thank you girls for all the prayers! :) You all have no idea how much I appreciate you all here and all day yesterday I kept thinking of you all and knowing you were thinking of me and praying too!
Uncle Don came through the surgery great! It was 6 1/2 hours, but the surgeon told us he did wonderful. I was able to see him when they brought him to his room, and he looked amazingly well for what he had just been through. I called about 8:00 last night to see how he was, and they were getting ready to wake him up, so I will call in about an hour to see how he got through the night.
I'll update you all later today.
