Posted - Sep 08 2010 : 11:11:43 AM Thank you all So, so much for sending prayers and cards my Grandma's way. For those of you who remember, my grandma was just recently diagnosised with stage 4 lung cancer which has spread to the brain. She is 83 years old so this is a tough battle for her, with no chance of a cure. She will be seeing the oncologist next week to see what her options are.
Anyway, I had asked for a card shower and you are all jumped right in! She called me today, utterly amazed and surprised about all the mail she is getting. She laughed and said her postman must think it is her birthday with all this mail...but even better because she has never received this much mail in her life! Thank you, thank you for all brightening her day!
I hope that the cards continue to trickle in...and if anyone else needs her mailing address feel free to e-mail me. Farmgirls are the BEST! -Elizabeth |
