My DD Abby just called. She had an email from Unum Provident in Chattanooga. They are considering her for a position in the HR dept. She has been trying to get on there for a long time now. She graduated from Covenant College in May. She's been so discouraged about not being able to find a good job. She's been working at a textile mill about a block away from her home. She is very lucky to have a job right now. But she is having to pay back the student loans now.
Please help me pray that a job opens up for her soon. She really needs it. Thanks so much.

Thank you all SO much! She had the phone interview Friday and feels real good about it. Now the waiting part. I am so hoping and praying she gets this.

I just talked to Abby tonight while I was walking. She has a phone interview Friday! Isn't that strange though? I guess that's how they do it now. Then hopefully she will be called for an in person interview.

Ah Lisa, you are too kind. She is a sweetie for sure, but really nothing like me. She is more like her dad. She is nice and sweet to everyone just like him. I can be a witch sometimes. Well, more than that! Anyway, thanks so much. She has been so discouraged since she has been going to school for about 8 years now. Night school most of the time and working too. So it's taken longer. And she is paying for all this herself. So I really hope something comes of this.
Karla, I will be praying for your DD too. It's so hard right now to find work if you are out of work. There just aren't any really good jobs right now. My other DD works for a girl that cleans new constructions and residential and buisinesses. It's hard and this girl is not the nicest person to work for. So she is looking for something else. Hopefully she can take Abby's job. It really is the perfect place to work and the hours are perfect. M-F 7-3. So good for Kansas. And I won't have to keep her anymore! Except when school's out. SO I am praying she gets that job.

My DD is also looking & needing a different job. It is a tough time to go looking that's for sure!
